My experience spans across corporate organizations like Airtel, Tech Mahindra, Etisalat-UAE, Jumbo Electronics and Start-ups like AShield Technologies (cybersecurity) and Reverie Language Technologies.
After graduating as an Electronics Engineer from SVNIT (erstwhile REC) Surat, I completed PGDM (MBA) from IIM Ahmedabad with specialization in Marketing.

Hi! My name is Kumar B M. I am a Marketing Consultant based in Bangalore, India!
My experience of over 18 years spans across B2C / B2B Companies & Start-ups in Marketing (Head of Marketing, Digital Marketing, End-to-End Customer Lifecycle Management, Increase Usage & Retention, Growth & Content Marketing, Lead Generation, Product Management) and Sales & Account Management (Partnerships, New Accounts, Deal Negotiation).
I have worked in / with Telecom (Wireline & Mobile), BFSI, Internet companies (Language Technologies, Cyber-Security), Retail and Software companies.
Education: MBA (PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad) + Electronics Engineering (NIT-Surat)
I have also completed a comprehensive hands-on training on Digital Marketing by Digital Deepak, a leading trainer of Digital Marketing in India.
As Head of Marketing, I have led a team of talented people to drive strategy and execution of Digital marketing (SEO/SMM/PPC), Growth Hacking, Branding & PR, Demand & Lead Generation and Inside Sales to generate high quality and relevant leads to help grow our revenue. We worked with multiple partners, agencies & freelancers to ensure we achieve the desired results while ensuring a win-win partnership. I successfully managed virtual launch of 2 key products and generated lots of enquiries/leads for the products.

- As Head of Marketing, built a Marketing team covering Content/Growth Marketing, Inbound marketing, Branding, SEO/SMM/PPC, Public Relations & other activities, defined relevant KPIs, launched 2 new products and delivered many qualified leads to increase the revenues
- Manage complete customer lifecycle to Enhance Revenue / ARPU by designing targeted Pricing plans / packages & Value-Added Services (VAS like Anti-virus, Gaming on Demand, Quiz, Railway enquiry etc) for specific segments for Prepaid & Post-paid customers across Mobile, Landline and Broadband services
- Launching targeted campaigns (over Social Media, Emails, SMS, OBDs, Websites & Landing Pages, PR etc.) for different segments to increase brand awareness and revenue
- Manage & motivate a team of 150 people to increase revenue through Up-selling/Cross-selling
- Negotiate and close million-dollar deals with roaming partners followed by signing contracts and tracking of the performance of the deals (Partnership / Account management)
- Product management of Cyber-security Solutions, Prepaid / Post-paid, Roaming & VAS products to achieve budgeted revenue
